a young child, Susan can remember delving into creative projects,
“organizing” her bedroom and mother’s kitchen and dreaming about a
career that would nuture her creative and entrepreneurial spirit. She
was destined to pursue a path that would lead to a successful career as
a professional organizing consultant and interior architectural
designer.
Ms. Lund received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from
the University of San Francisco, with a minor in Business. She spent
several years with Nordstrom, Inc., including its Store Planning and
Architecture Department as a space planner and project manager. The
skills she developed as Nordstrom’s liaison between contractors, vendors
and regional management have been an invaluable asset in providing
exceptional service to her clients.
Susan offers consultation and design services based on the client’s
needs and provides complete working drawings and project management. Her
philosophy, passion, experience and excellent reputation are reflected
in the stellar organization, functionality and beauty in her designs.
She loves working with clients who are enthusiastic about being involved
in the design process, open to new ideas and able to express vision for
their project, giving direction for concepts and specifications.
She is a member of the SEN Buying Group, which provides semi-custom and
custom cabinetry, plumbing, countertops, appliances and hardware, giving
her access to unlimited vendors and manufacturers, allowing
extraordinary choices for clients to create their dream kitchen.
Her work has been featured in Signature Kitchens and Baths
magazine (Fall 2002, Summer 2003, Spring 2004 and Winter 2004),
Home and Garden Kitchen & Bath magazine (Fall 2000), showcased
in the Annual Valentine’s Day Kitchen Tour in Belvedere, California
(2001 and 2006) and Spacial Design placed second for Best Kitchen & Bath
Design firm in Marin County’s Pacific Sun newspaper in
2004.
Ms. Lund is an accredited member of the National Kitchen and Bath Design
Association, the National Association of Professional Organizers and the
USF Alumni Association. She lives in San Anselmo, California with her
husband and twin daughters, where she is very much at home in her own
kitchen cultivating her love of cooking.

Kathleen Minahen Poer is
a
designer, organizational consultant and educator with over 20
years of space planning experience. She has helped countless
clients become aware of their needs and continues to create
spaces that work for them.

Kathleen, former owner of Spacial Design, participated in nine Marin Designer Showcases, won a 1st place national award for Space Efficiency, consulted with Readers' Digest Books, has been featured in books and magazines and wrote "Lillian Vernon's Home Maintenance Tips".
Kathleen has presented diverse timely and informative seminars to many groups throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and has spoken for the National Kitchen and Bath Association. She has recently started a satellite office of Spacial Design to serve Sonoma and Napa counties.
Ms. Poer is a graduate of San Francisco State University and has completed many art and design courses since that time. Prior to starting her first business, she spent 15 years with Macy's California,lastly, as training manager for the San Francisco store.
Kathleen is a member of The National Kitchen & Bath Association, the
Sonoma Community Center, serves on its board, and is a founder and past president of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She is an avid watercolorist, lives in Sonoma and has two adult daughters.
